銷毀敘利亞化武 歐盟願伸援

（中央社布魯塞爾2013年9月14日綜合外電報導）美國和俄羅斯已就銷毀敘利亞化學武器達成協議，歐洲聯盟今天對此表示歡迎，並表明歐盟願意協助落實這項協議。

歐盟外交政策首長艾希頓（Catherine Ashton）發表聲明說：「本人樂見美國和俄羅斯今天達成的這項協議，以確保能迅速銷毀敘利亞的化學武器及計畫。」

聲明又說：「一些歐盟會員國擁有接管設施以及拆解和銷毀若干化學戰劑的必備技術知識，隨時可協助執行這項重大且緊急任務。」
