新聞網址：2013-09-13 中時娛樂 中央社 魔幻系列小說「哈利波特」的作者JK羅琳（J.K. Rowling）今天宣布，她正著手寫以哈利波特這位男童巫師魔法世界為背景的一系列外傳電影。 JK羅琳透過她的臉書網頁說，這一系列外傳電影的第1部，將以「怪獸與牠們的產地」（Fantastic Beasts And Where to Find Them）為名，劇情根據的是哈利波特跟同學在魔法學校「霍格華茲」所使用的同名課本。 這一系列外傳的背景定在哈利波特誕生70年前的紐約，故事圍繞著魔法動物學家紐特．斯卡曼德（Newt Scamander）打轉。 紐特．斯卡曼德就是哈利波特等上課所用「怪獸與牠們的產地」教科書的作者，這本教科書談的是如何照顧魔法動物的奇獸飼育學，專門研究奇獸飼育學的人就稱為魔法動物學家。 「怪獸與牠們的產地」課本涵蓋了奇獸飼育學的歷史及詳述了75種世界上的魔法動物。書中大部份資訊來自斯卡曼德跨越五大洲旅遊多年的觀察研究。 這一系列外傳電影由華納兄弟影業公司（Warner Bros.）攝製，JK羅琳在結束哈利波特小說（7集）與電影（8部）系列後2年，在這系列華納製作的外傳電影中獻出她的編劇處女秀。 JK羅琳說：「我一向說，只有在獲得能讓我真正興奮的情節構想後，我才會再次投入巫術魔法世界，而這個外傳系列正是這樣的故事。」 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 182.235.140.16
