推特低調提IPO　避臉書上市亂象重演

【賴宇萍╱綜合外電報導】熱門社群網站推特（twitter）透過其官方推特帳號宣布，已向美國證管會（Securities and Exchange Commission，SEC）提出上市申請，但並未透露完成IPO（Initial Public Offering，首次公開發行）的時間與籌資金額。

這宗繼facebook（臉書）去年上市以來最受矚目的科技業IPO，是通過保密程序提出上市申請，可能意味著該公司營收低於外界想像，相關詳細資訊可能要等到定價階段才會對外公布。

鑑於facebook去年上市後的慘痛經歷，推特執行長力圖低調進行IPO。推特今年稍早公布，已有遠超過2億的積極用戶。據科技新聞網站GigaOM報導，推特市值上看140億美元（4200億元台幣）。
