【綜合報導】總統府副祕書長羅智強，近日數度代表馬英九總統重砲轟擊立法院長王金平，昨突透過臉書發表公開信，宣布請辭獲准，並舉行記者會說，前晚他已向馬總統請辭獲准，預計兩、三周內，完成交接就會離開，他也說，經思考確定不會參選基隆市長，未來規劃一切隨緣。他說，發表公開信是，「結束副祕書長前的照明彈，做最後一次燃燒」。

羅說，國會議長涉司法關說，事證如此明確，馬總統堅持為理念奮力一戰，外界卻鋪天蓋地批評，這麼黑白分明的事實與理念，呈現在媒體卻那麼黑白不明，確實讓他心情複雜。他對此事有看法，但因職務不容他多說，只有走下發言台，才能真正暢所欲言。他說，曾多次向馬請辭，都被慰留。前晚他告訴馬：「就讓我任性一次吧，我的心意已定了！」才獲馬點頭。
