王維中速飆152公里 創個人生涯最快

【羅惠齡／綜合報導】效力海盜隊的台灣左投王維中，今在海盜菜鳥聯盟灣岸海盜先發，對上老虎隊，飆出95哩(約152公里)速球，創個人生涯最快球速。
 
王維中前年加入海盜，卻發現手肘韌帶斷裂，之後手術治療並復健，今年自菜鳥聯盟出發，此役是他今年第11場先發，投4局只被打出4支安打、送4次三振，第1局被連續安打丟1分後穩住陣腳，之後都沒失分，4局投完僅用52球，但未繼續投下去就被換下，海盜終場11比1擊敗老虎，但王維中無緣勝投，本季勝投還未開張，吞3敗，防禦率3.53。
