民眾蛋洗苗栗縣府　警員右眼遭雞蛋砸傷送醫

【林建鋒／台中報導】昨晚10點多，聲援大埔案的民眾向苗栗縣政府大門丟擲臭雞蛋、撒冥紙，場面失控混亂，至少15名蒐證警察遭到蛋擊、渾身臭味，蒐證器材也受損，其中張姓偵查佐右眼球被蛋殼砸中，緊急送往大千醫院急救，深夜十一時許，再由救護車轉送台中榮總，傷者到院時，表示眼睛很刺痛，但視力還看得到，暫時沒有模糊的情況。
 
苗栗縣長劉政鴻隨後趕到台中榮總，探視受傷警員傷勢，他面色凝重表示：「我們一直交代同仁要柔性勸導，也要忍辱負重，但是看到不理性的暴力行為，我感到非常遺憾，沒有預期到會變成這樣，我想這樣不理性的暴力行為，絕對不是我們社會所需要的。」
