基隆中元放水燈 供千人體驗

雞籠中元祭的最高潮「放水燈大遊行」將在下周登場，為了讓民眾提前體驗放水燈樂趣，17日當天將開放1千份免費水燈，讓民眾可以親手彩繪，再將水燈施放於海洋廣場，感受放水燈的意義。

放水燈是雞籠中元祭備受矚目的祭典活動之一，根據典故，放水燈的目的在為水上孤魂照路，招引至陸地共享普度供品，才能使水陸兩界孤魂和平相處，每年放水燈遊行後深夜間，由於畫面十分壯觀美麗，常引起不少外地觀光客駐足欣賞。

但考量一般民眾鮮少能有機會參與放水燈的儀式，文化局今年特別提供1千份彩繪祈福水燈於海洋廣場施放，民眾可於水燈上寫下祈求平安的話語後施放水燈，體驗難得的機會。

主辦單位也於中元祭期間規畫了一系列有趣的活動及展演，包含17日當天下午3點過後搭乘台鐵區間車前往基隆，就有機會搭乘到中元祭限定的「中元祭鬼怪列車」，與難得現身的鬼怪們一同搭車，前往中元祭狂歡。
