面板操控案 惠普撤告華映大同

（中央社台北2日電）美國電腦大廠惠普（Hewlett-Packard ）撤銷去年對華映與大同美國子公司有關操控液晶顯示器（LCD）螢幕價格的指控。

彭博昨天（1日）引述舊金山聯邦法院的文件指出，上述三家公司同意撤銷本案。這份文件中並未說明惠普為何撤告台灣這兩家公司。

惠普去年狀告華映、大同美國子公司和其他LCD業者，在1998年至2006年間操控LCD價格，並限製面板產量，讓惠普因採購價碼過高，損失超過10億美元。

惠普發言人薩克（Michael Thacker），以及華映與大同的委任律師布朗斯登（David Brownstein）並未立即回應記者要求置評的電話或電郵。（譯者：中央社趙蔚蘭）1020802
