針對台新金想促使彰化銀行與台新銀行整併，全國金融業工會聯合總會23日理事會正式決議，抗議台新金「惡意併購」彰銀，全力支持彰銀工會「反合併」主張，並將聯合所有金融業工會動員力挺彰銀工會反制台新金控的所有行動。

全金聯指出，自從今年2月20日台新金控董事會通過彰銀與台新銀合併研究案以來，財政部雖於第一時間即表示反對，但其仍不死心，近日更於彰銀常董會憑藉人數優勢、不顧獨董反對，強行通過成立合併研議專案小組，強度關山「惡意併購」的意圖昭然若揭。

全金聯強調，台新金控當初入股彰銀時就爭議不斷，甚至金融業工會為此掀起抗議財團吞併國家資產的反合併聲浪，錯誤的「二次金改」政策才猛然煞車，加上台新金長期形象不佳，不論是過去的卡債風波或是歷年來屢屢因內控疏失及公司治理問題遭金管會重罰在案可稽，此等重大的合併議題關乎員工權益及全民資產，未經勞資雙方合意及公股支持，豈能任其恣意得逞。

彰銀工會日前已正式成立「反合併行動策略小組」，負責規劃後續行動方略，未來彰銀工會若有任何「反合併」行動，全金聯表示，將秉持「反對財團吞併國家資產」的立場，號召所有金融業工會力挺彰銀工會到底。
