國光客運火燒車　彭山隧道回堵塞2小時

【黃仲明／新北報導】國道5號彭山隧道發生火燒車事故！一輛從宜蘭開往台北的國光客運，今天下午2時許，行經國道5號彭山隧道12.7公里處時，左後輪突然爆胎而起火燃燒，隧道冒出陣陣濃煙，嚇得多名路過駕駛報案，所幸客運駕駛迅速停車，並利用隧道內的消防設備滅火，警消獲報到場後也立刻灑水替車輛降溫，未釀傷亡。
 
客運駕駛向警消表示，他準備將車開回台北保養廠維修，不清楚怎麼會爆胎，還好當時車上沒有乘客。雖然駕駛10分鐘內撲滅火勢，但事故造成隧道內僅能單線通車，宜蘭往台北方向的車輛嚴重回堵，直到下午4時許，大型拖車將國光客運移往石碇服務區停放才恢復交通，塞車近2個小時。
