過去在《黑街聖徒》系列中非常活躍，冷血卻又十分值得信賴的夥伴，強尼蓋特的復活預告，隨著《黑街聖徒 4（Saints Row 4）》（PC / PS3 / Xbox 360）的最新宣傳影片「蓋特歸來」一同公開。
強尼蓋特（Johnny Gat）是系列首作眾多登場人物中的其中一人，協助主角完成各式各樣任務的亞洲系角色。雖然在前作《
黑街聖徒 3（Saints Row: The Third）》中不幸命喪黃泉，不過這回似乎將會在新作中重新復活。

在這回公開的影片中，我們不但可以看見活生生的強尼在看起來像是外星人基地的地方和主角相會握手，還聽得見像是「（在棺材裡）被關得太久了」之類的台詞，看來應該不會是什麼複製人或是幻想中的人物。
此外，影片中還收錄了強尼使用各種武器進行攻擊的模樣，甚至還使出了像是波動拳的攻擊技，看起來簡直就像是可操作角色一樣，讓人更加地期待今後的後續報導。
發行商 Deep Silver 也在這次公開了英語版的配音陣容，為本作主角獻聲的配音員包括諾蘭．諾斯（Nolan North）在內男女共計 7 名，玩家將可依喜好為主角設定聲調。雖然強尼蓋特的配音員目前仍未正式發表，不過，從這部宣傳影片裡所收錄的語音加以推測的話，很有可能是曾在美國電視劇《
LOST 檔案》中出演的韓裔演員金大賢（Daniel Dae Kim）。
