　　在種類不多的低年齡層取向作品中，卡片遊戲一直是廣受支持的類型。此類故事中，主角大多會得到某種使用卡片的能力，藉此展開一場又一場的對決，同時逐漸成長。《Fantasista Doll（又譯：幻想人形）》正是結合此類要素的本季新動畫，主角鵜野宇都芽在偶然的情況下成為卡片召喚師，得到召喚人形（DOLL）的能力，開始和5位人形共同生活，且肩負起保衛地球的責任。
