【短片】太空飛機　4小時倫敦飛到澳洲

【綜合報導】英國政府將斥資6000萬英鎊，相當於約270億台幣，研發革命性的超音速太空飛機「Skylon」，屆時由倫敦飛到澳洲，大約只需4個小時。

太空飛機採用的引擎「SABRE」，是由當地一間航天公司研發，機身長約84公尺的Skylon，飛行時速達到30577公里，只需15分鐘就飛到貼近地球的平流層。

英國大學及科學大臣威利特(David Willetts)表示，SABRE引擎將徹底改變人類進入太空的方式。Skylon預計在2019年試飛，一旦成功，可當太空船使用。研發公司希望， 在2022年之前，可以運送15噸重的貨物到國際太空站。
