【賴德剛／綜合報導】金鶯4局下攻勢再起，前2棒魏特斯(Matt Wieters)、哈迪(J.J. Hardy)先靠著選球被保送上壘，羅伯茲(Brian Roberts)補上中外野深遠安打，先攻下第3分，第9棒萊摩德(Nolan Reimold)又補上左外野3分砲4局打完，金鶯已經以6比0遙遙領先。
 
羅伯茲敲出的中外野深遠安打，原本就有機會飛出全壘打牆，但遊騎兵隊中外野手貝爾崔(Engel Beltre)演出美技，將球攔截下來，雖未能接殺，卻助球隊守住2分，沒想到賣力演出最後還是無用。
 
賽前打擊率不到2成的萊摩德，面對遊騎兵先發投手林德布隆(Josh Lindblom)，第1球就掃出左外野深遠飛球，順利飛過全壘打牆，助球隊攻下大局。
