Ubisoft 今日在美國洛杉磯舉辦的 E3 電玩展展前發表會上宣布，旗下舞蹈遊戲《舞力全開》系列續作《舞力全開 2014》正在開發中，本作計畫在本世代主機平台與次世代主機 PlayStation 4、Xbox One 及 Wii U 推出。《舞力全開 2014》預計 10 月 1 日搶先在 PlayStation 3、Xbox 360 以及 Wii 平台推出。
《舞力全開》系列作至今擁有超過 4,000 萬銷售成績，而去年《舞力全開 4》獲得全球所有平台遊戲合計銷售第四名的佳績、同時也是年底歐美佳節檔期時在全球 Wii 平台銷售第一名的遊戲。
《舞力全開 2014》收錄了超過 40 首新歌曲，從排行榜上的暢銷金曲到舞廳經典曲目，包含流行音樂、嘻哈、搖滾、藍調、放克等。《舞力全開 2014》部份曲目包含了：
- Feel This Moment — Pitbull ft. Christina Aguilera
- Pound The Alarm — Nicki Minaj
- Starships — Nicki Minaj
- Kiss You — One Direction
- She Wolf (Falling to Pieces) — David Guetta ft. Sia
- Turn Up The Love — Far East Movement ft. Cover Drive
- Troublemaker — Olly Murs ft. Flo Rida
- Gentleman — PSY
- Candy — Robbie Williams
- I Will Survive — Gloria Gaynor
《舞力全開 2014》加入了線上多人模式「World Dance Floor」與「On Stage」兩大新玩法。在「World Dance Floor」中，玩家可以加入虛擬舞團，與真實世界朋友或其它《舞力全開》線上玩家，在不同的的主題上進行競爭。同時，玩家還可以在全球排行榜上追蹤自己的排名、觀看來自全世界其他玩家的成果，並且獲得社群最新資訊。
而「On Stage」模式則是讓玩家成為舞曲的主角，在聚光燈焦點下引領另外兩位伴舞玩家一同展現風采，甚至可讓伴舞者來段獨唱橋段。
Ubisoft 歐亞區首席市場行銷業務總監 Geoffroy Sardin 表示：「《舞力全開》將以盛大排場重返聚光燈下，特別是次世代遊戲主機的硬體賦予我們開發團隊更多的發揮空間。我們成功地讓《舞力全開》成為家庭必備遊戲的元素，而對於新一代的《舞力全開 2014》，我們正在創造一款功能將是前所未見功能豐富且在技術上更上一層樓的作品」。

《舞力全開 2014》預計 10 月 1 日在 PlayStation 3、Xbox 360 及 Wii U 平台上搶先推出，而 PlayStation 4、Xbox One 以及 Wii U 將陸續登場。
