建仔連14局無失分　獲單周最佳投手

上周連續2場投出7局無失分內容的王建民，獲選為3A國際聯盟單周最佳投手。

建仔先在5月28日對金鶯3A主投7局只被擊出2支安打無失分，接著在6月2日對全聯盟戰績最好的光芒3A投出7局6安無失分的內容，連拿2勝，防禦率因此降到2.33，在國際聯盟排名第2。建仔因此成為洋基3A史寬頓鐵道騎士本季第3位獲單周最佳球員的選手。
