【於慶中／綜合外電報導】古人說：「在家千日好，出門半朝難」，相信不少大學生都認同這番話。美國一項調查發現，許多大學生要到自己出外租屋或住過宿舍後，才會開始想家及明白父母的辛苦、才能學會如何與人相處、增加求生技能及改變生活習慣。
美國迪士尼影業《皮克斯動畫工作室》(Pixar)最近做的調查顯示，當地有三分之二的大學生一直要到搬離家居住後，才感到「開了眼界」，近一半受訪者沒有父母在身邊，才發現自己沒有自理能力。不少剛上大學的學生坦言，每月平均要打20次電話回家，詢問生活上的問題，他們至少要花4個月時間才能適應自己生活。
