「銅葉綠素」的戰火從油品延燒到麵點，台灣知名麵點食品業者興霖食品，旗下所生產的「五木拉麵」被點名有使用銅葉綠素，興霖食品澄清，使用的品項並非銅葉綠素，而且也非用在油裡而是麵點裡。
興霖表示，五木拉麵所進口的品項是「銅葉綠素鈉」而非銅葉綠素，使用在「純麵煮意－蔬菜拉麵」、「五木蔬菜拉麵」、「五木康健麵道－菠菜麵」三款上，目前已陸續將產品下架，並接受消費者退貨。
