食品衛生安全問題層出不窮，民眾更加關注食品安全議題，市場對食品技師需求大增，食品技師考試成為考生熱門選擇之一，近三年來每次報考人數都破千人，今年底舉辦第二次食品技師考試後，預估累計將有1500名以上食品技師人力，補強食品產業用人需求，另外，考選部也積極規劃增設公職食品技師考試，預計最快明年中上路。

大統公司賣給頂新、福懋油的原料橄欖油檢方調查是國外已榨過的殘渣油，可能是在國外就以化學方式分離出來，彰化地檢署粗估大統賣給2家公司不法所得應有3億元，至於銅葉綠素7年來到底進口量是多少？檢方目前只找到100公斤進口量資料，查扣的銅葉綠素有70公斤。
