| 20年後重回原點 蘇煥智重操舊業當律師

【吳家翔／台北報導】台南縣前縣長蘇煥智卸下縣長一職近3年後，決定重操舊業當律師，預計10月在台北成立律師事務所，未來生活重心將以台北為主。蘇說，他問過自己，覺得還是趕快回來當律師比較實在，「沒賺錢要怎麼生活」。至於心情上是否有落差，他認為差距不會很大，還是可以繼續關心社會，並參與公益性質的活動。
蘇煥智是台大法律系畢業、輔大法研所碩士，律師高考及格，1983到1991年曾擔任過律師，曾是獨台會事件律師團的召集人。他說，經過二十年後，「重新回到原點」。

 美國移民法案大變革 參院決議：讓現有非法移民取得身分

【鉅亨網陳律安 綜合外電】
參議院週四通過移民法案的大幅修改，可謂美國移民系統 25 年來的最大變革，讓現居美國的非法移民能取得合法身分，並在墨西哥邊界加強戒備。
該法案共取得 68票 認可票數，並未達到支持者認為可以給眾院帶來壓力的 70 票，其中 32 人投下否定票。
但該法案能否過的了眾院這關，仍是未知數，許多眾議員表示邊界的防備還是要再加強。眾院議長博納再度強調，不會把參院的結果照單全收，7 月 10 日將討論移民的「下一步」。
