| 教育部補助大學開辦暑期英語授課教師海外培訓及學生英語課程

面對國際化競爭，英語已成為不可或缺的工具，且成為優秀人才面對國際化競爭的必要裝備。為提升專業領域學生之國際移動能力及強化我國專業領域英語授課教師教學品質，教育部特別補助大學開辦暑期英語特色培訓措施，期望能透過暑期培訓，將英語菁英人才潛力激出火花。預計於7月15日起舉行為期四週的「大專暑期英語密集訓練—國際商管人才菁英班」及8月16日起為期兩週的「全國大專校院專業課程英語授課教師澳洲暑期研習」，已經開始招生，請各大學校院符合條件的學生及教師上網查詢並向主辦學校報名。
為培訓英語專業種子教師，提升專業課程英語教學品質，教育部今年補助桃竹苗區域教學資源中心辦理「全國大專校院專業課程英語授課教師澳洲暑期研習」計畫，由元智大學承辦，將遴選30名各大學校院教授英語專業領域課程且英語流利之師資，時間為8月16至9月1日，至澳洲新南威爾斯大學(the University of New South Wales, UNSW)，於當地學術機構進行英語教學教法之訓練，並進行工程及商管專業科目研究之交流。以透過專業教師之英語授課培訓，返臺後能開設更多英語授課之通識、全英語學程之課程，提升我國大學校院英語教學授課品質。詳情請上網查詢：http://tec.yzu.edu.tw/web/expand/?method=lists&sid=24
另外，針對學生英語能力訓練部分，則補助北一區教學資源中心(東吳大學) 開辦「2013年暑期英文密集訓練-國際商管人才菁英班」，自7月15日至8月9日止，預計招收60人，內容包含英語實力養成、職場競爭力，如國際會議、談判技巧、全球境外金融簡介等等，以深化優秀學生跨國移動能力，更培養該專業領域之學生成為有潛力之優秀國際商貿談判人才，加強我國競爭力，詳情請上網查詢。http://www.ext.scu.edu.tw/class_0a.aspx?ClassID=1534&ClassTypeID=13&SubClassID=139
