 比少子化還不妙！台灣新生兒性別失衡加劇 違法依墮胎罪論處

日前媒體大幅報導醫師KUSO抗議衛生單位因接生性別比異常而約訪的訊息。對此，衛生署極為重視，並作出正向回應。 衛生署表示，臺灣新生兒性別失衡嚴重，而聯合國人口基金會又將此列為重點，有必要正視並有效改善。加強試劑與檢驗之管理與稽查，或僅以胎兒性別差異為由進行之人工流產等行為，可移送檢調依刑法墮胎罪論處。
除了少子化，台灣今年1-5月出生性別比從去年的1.074爬升到1.080。為深入檢討及妥善處理近日醫師之反映，國民健康局局長邱淑媞提請召開跨局處會議，獲衛生署長邱文達高度重視與支持，特別指示由許銘能副署長召集。6月28日開會後決定爾後將管理重點擺在源頭之試劑與檢驗管理，加強檢驗設備及試劑的稽察。
另落實過去已公告禁止以母血進行性別檢查事項外，為避免仍有以性聯遺傳疾病檢查作性別檢驗之狀況，造成管理漏洞，醫事處將考量禁止以母血進行性聯遺傳疾病檢驗，並進一步與相關學者專家討論後公告。
