| 胸被蚊子咬三口 女子險喪命

【綜合報導】英國48歲女子托馬森(Natalie Thomason)，今年3月和女兒前往埃及首都開羅觀光時，被蚊子叮咬左胸和左臂，留下三個疤痕。托馬森本以為被蚊叮咬十分平常，沒想到回國後一個月，左胸和左手臂腫起、潰爛和發黑，送醫治療緊急將患部切除，情況才稍有改善。
托馬森在開羅旅遊時，被蚊子叮咬兩個部位共三口，包括左胸上方、左乳頭旁，以及左臂下方。托馬森本不覺得有事，繼續行程到5天後回國，但旅行結束後一個月，她的左胸和左臂傷口不斷隆起形成水泡，且幾小時後傷口迅速發黑、滲膿和發臭，左胸無被蚊咬的部份更呈現如淤血般的紫色。托馬森當時心跳快速、不停冒汗和全身發抖，她形容「這種痛苦比生三名子女還要痛」，之後就被送醫治理。
托馬森經醫生檢查後，證實傷口是受到「食肉菌」感染，須立刻進行手術，將腫起部份切除，否則會有生命危險。托馬森後來住院5星期，靠著定期服食抗生素和用消毒劑沖洗傷口，情況才稍有改善，她胸部的疤痕現在正慢慢消退中。
