| 監守自盜 蒂芬妮珠寶公司高層成竊盜犯

【綜合報導】美國著名珠寶公司蒂芬妮（Tiffany & Co.）一名被裁員的前高層涉嫌偷竊百餘件鑽飾，得手後轉售獲利逾百萬美元。
46歲的蕾德哈絲（Ingrid Lederhaas-Okun）原本擔任的是公司產品開發部副總經理，她涉嫌在去年11月至今年2月期間，從Tiffany紐約旗艦店偷走165件首飾， 包括鑽石手鐲、耳環、吊墜等，部份轉售給某國際珠寶商圖利，不當得利約130萬美元。為了避過公司檢查，蕾德哈絲每次只偷價值10,000美元以下的首飾。
蕾德哈絲周二在康乃迪克州的家中被捕，被控詐騙和跨州運送贓物，若兩項罪名都成立，她將面臨30年的牢獄之災。

| 營造工廠遭祝融 廠房付之一炬

【陳冠宇／新北報導】今天深夜12時許，汐止一設備工廠發生大火，由於廠房內擺放油漆桶等易燃物品，火勢瞬間蔓延，但幸好當時工廠內沒有人，現場無人員傷亡。
傅姓負責人表示，工廠面積約200坪，為何起火他也搞不清楚，造成的損失目前也難以估計。新北市消防局表示，現場總燃燒面積約50坪，起火原因還待火調科調查。
