【綜合報導】埃及軍方推翻首位民選總統，民眾爆出巨大歡呼聲，放煙火慶祝，不過軍方同時也警告，一旦發生任何暴動，軍隊和警方將會「果斷處置。」
另一方面，莫西的親信表示，莫西現在已被移到秘密地方，不過研判軍方應該不會限制莫西的行動，也不會將莫西關進大牢。

【綜合報導】埃及國防部長塞西(Abdel Fattah el Sisi)，發表電視演說宣布軍方版藍圖，表示總統莫西未能達到人民要求，表示莫西不再擁有政權，將由憲法法庭的首席法官暫時接任，組成臨時政府，並宣布將提早舉行國會和總統選舉，並會修改憲法，在選舉舉行之前，將會暫停現有憲法。
