| CNN選出世上最偉大25工程 台北101名列13

【綜合報導】《美國有線新聞網》(CNN)為了表揚人類在建築與工程上的成就，評選出x《全球25最偉大工程》(25 of Mankind's Greatest Engineering Achievements)，除了中國的萬里長城、埃及金字塔和印度泰姬馬哈陵這些「常客」外，新時代的建築如日本東京晴空塔、台北101大樓也都榜上有名，跨越世代、新舊共冶一爐。
網站以工程和建築的興建時間，設計師意念、運用的材料等因素評分，選出他們認為最宏偉、大膽和勇於創新的設計，上榜的工程依序為：

第3度爭奪大滿貫女雙決賽門票，我國女網一姊謝淑薇昨晚終於到手！謝淑薇與中國彭帥合拍海峽女雙，昨在溫布頓網球錦標賽女雙4強賽對戰大黑馬青山修子／薛皮爾絲(C.Scheepers)的日本／南非聯軍，直落2搶勝，兩人首度闖進溫網女雙決賽，謝淑薇也成為繼我國黃金女雙詹詠然／莊佳容之後，第3位殺進大滿貫賽女雙決賽的台將。 明決賽將遭遇第12種子澳洲組合巴蒂(A.Barty)／黛拉夸(C.Dellacqua)。
