 謝金燕在最後一刻終於決定出席金曲獎。
防患未然
【許晉榮、尤燕祺╱台北報導】第24屆金曲獎今晚在小巨蛋登場，擔心3年前「水淹紅毯」、「藝人禮服淪為拖把」災難重演，承辦單位三立、東風昨緊急花了約200萬元架設透明遮雨棚，希望讓音樂人安心走星光；而本屆金曲大熱門蔡依林（Jolin）因肩負表演、走紅毯開場及頒獎等多重身分，決定提前今午2點「進駐」小巨蛋長期抗戰；另謝金燕昨總算確定出席金曲獎，正緊鑼密鼓試戰袍。

| 安全氣囊出包 克萊斯勒召修28.2萬輛車

【綜合報導】美國克萊斯特宣布召修28萬2千輛2013年出售的車，由於車內一軟體出問題，導致發生撞擊時，側邊安全氣囊不會朝受撞擊的一方打開，反而是朝沒有受撞擊的另一邊打開。
這波出問題的汽車包括Dodge Grand Caravan、Chrysler Town and Country 和Ram Cargo Van，在美國、加拿大和墨西哥出售。

【綜合報導】伊拉克一名高齡92歲的爺爺慕沙里(Musali Mohammed al-Mujamaie)，和2名孫子星期四舉行婚禮，爺爺的新婚妻年僅22歲，足足小了爺爺70歲。
這已經是慕沙里第二次結婚，3年前第一任妻子過世，2人育有16個孩子，這次結婚新婚妻僅大同時結婚的孫子6歲，為了能和爺爺同天舉行婚禮，孫子的婚禮還延遲了好幾次，當中最開心的應該就是慕沙里，他表示自己感覺就像20歲小夥子一樣。
