【王家俊／台北報導】民進黨質疑馬政府選前承諾大埔農戶不拆選後不認帳，副總統吳敦義上午被問到是否政策跳票時，突然回頭對著媒體痛陳，「沒有甚麼跳票，這是原則問題，大家都知道古訓很清楚，孝順是很重要的，當父親要砍你的時候不跑，反而留著他砍，反而是不孝順的。」吳敦義在出席內政部長李鴻源嫁女受訪時做上述表示。吳敦義還說，「男女授受不親，如果嫂嫂快要跌到井裡頭了，不伸手去扶救她，讓她因為男女授受不親、不能救命，那也是違背本意的，守經也應該有應變。」他說，不可能每樣事情都前後一致，大埔案百分之九十九都沒有問題，只剩一戶各方有高的期待，希望苗栗縣政府多方溝通。

【綜合報導】眾所矚目的林百貨歷經三年修復問世，這是台灣第一座整建復原的「百貨公司」，作家米果今天對這座「台灣第一」提出觀點，她認為古蹟修復除了有心，還要有錢，更要對過往的歷史有愛，但是政府單位在修復古蹟之後，有時候欠缺想法，有時候卻太有想法。
米果今天在《蘋果日報》論壇版「蘋果信」專欄，發表《只會賣文創商品 古蹟都要掉淚》指出，剛剛修復開放參觀的林百貨，未來似乎計劃朝著「文創百貨外包」的方向招標；但古蹟要活化，林百貨要重生，除了文創百貨進駐之外，有沒有更為敬意的方式呢？千萬不要扛著「活化古蹟」的大招牌，外包成為吵鬧的賣場，賣著千篇一律的文創商品，賣著許多觀光區都看得到的甜食零嘴果醋或布丁，或包著同款花布的農產品。如果是訪者喧鬧進來，又匆忙離去，變成嘈雜的觀光景點，倘若建築有靈魂，林百貨可能會暗自垂淚。
