【陳世河／台中報導】台中區豐原監理站上午10點，在辦公大樓4樓辦理「酒醉眼鏡」體驗活動，讓參加道路安全講習的民眾戴上酒醉眼鏡，走在用保齡球瓶排列成的走道中，讓民眾知道人體喝醉酒後失控的狀況，所有民眾戴上眼鏡後走路全部歪歪斜斜，地上保齡球瓶全被撞倒一地，參加講習的廖鎮坤說：「太危險了，根本沒辦法控制，喝酒真的不要開車」。
豐原監理站長馮靜滿說：「由美國進口的酒醉模擬眼鏡分為模擬白天和晚上二組，模擬酒醉程度由血液中酒精濃度從0.06％~0.17%，民眾可體驗從微醉到大醉，自己身體行為不受控制的狀況。」

【王智勇／台南報導】中山高新營路段今下午三點三十分發生一起死亡車禍，一輛由何姓女駕駛開的轎車，行駛內側車道，不慎擦撞護欄後，衝過對向南下車道，飛撞另一輛轎車，削斷對方車頂，造成開車的男駕駛，慘遭削頭亡，車上其它三名乘客分受輕重傷，而何女車上也有一人受傷，總計造成一死四輕重傷，肇事原因由警方調查。
