| 狗狗友善健行日 上百愛犬趴趴走

【蔡亞樺／台北報導】台北市動物保護處今舉辦北市狗狗友善健行日，飼主帶著愛狗齊聚花博公園圓山廣場，上百隻狗狗在公園趴趴走，包括溫馴的拉布拉不多、嬌巧的博美等，模樣逗趣可愛，但午後突如其來大雨、雷聲，嚇得不少狗狗大吼大叫，場面一度混亂。
動保處也公布網友票選寵物10大友善公園，冠軍為大安森林公園，福和及景美河濱公園分居2、3名，其餘7處為花博公園、青年公園、228和平公園、古亭河濱公園、華山公園、大湖公園及木柵河濱公園。

在加盟德州遊騎兵三A快車隊的記者會上，曼尼Manny Ramirez表示，雖然來到台灣短短的時間，但所有人的熱情令他印象深刻。
「我可以告訴大家，去台灣打球是很好的經驗，一旦去到海外，所有的事情都會改變，但我很感謝台灣那些人對待我的方式，真的非常棒，對這一點我真的不能說什麼。」
「當你去過台灣，然後再回到三A，這裡就跟大聯盟沒兩樣，在台灣的球場，沒有空調，也沒有東西吃，不過在那裡我還是很快樂。」
