【陳方瑩／南投報導】南投縣埔里鎮第7屆美人腿節，今舉行美人腿公主決選，今年有來自全國各地50多名佳麗報名，經上月30初賽，15名「長腿姐姐」入圍，上午參加決賽者穿著背心、短褲走秀，展現修長的美腿與自信的身材，並表演舞蹈、樂器等才藝，親友團舉海報、歡呼加油打氣，現場high翻。
下午將公佈成績，前三名可獲得5萬元、2萬元及1、萬元獎金，將擔任埔里茭白筍產業行銷大使。今年首度發行美人腿公主月曆，進行人氣票選，前十二名佳麗將登上二○一四年月曆，促銷埔里觀光產業。

| 艷陽天洗車賣檸檬水 小學生募款做公益

【石永軒╱新北報導】11名就讀國小3年級的學童，為了做公益搶救流浪狗以及幫助安養中心，昨天下午頂著艷陽，捲起袖子幫路人洗車，還賣起自製的檸檬水，雖然期間還遇到大雷雨，但是5個小時募款到4千多元，讓小朋友都十分開心，也讓贊助的顧客豎起大拇指誇讚「好棒！」
