| 公務員高考三級錄取率4.83% 普考2.24%

【徐珮君／台北報導】公務人員高考三級考試進入第2天，考選部表示，昨天應考人數為6萬5632人，到考人數4萬6968人，到考率為71.56%，原本預估錄取率為3.46%，提高到4.83%；至於6日結束的普考粗估錄取率僅2.24%。
對於高普考錄取率偏低，關中認為，從常識來看，高普考錄取率偏低，多少與經濟不景氣有點關係，但因公務員生活安定有保障，考公務員在全世界都是年輕人優先選項，他鼓勵民眾多報考公職，讓國家有更多選擇。此外，關也說，高階文官的素質大不如前，必須加強在職訓練。

| 韓亞航空難 罹難女最後留言444444

【綜合報導】韓亞航214航班在美國舊金山機場墜毀，2名罹難者是浙江中學生王琳佳及葉夢圓，兩人原為參加一個35人的夏令營飛往美國，卻不幸搭上這班死亡客機。而詭異的是，兩人在騰訊微博上的最後留言，竟分別是英文單字「Go」和6個阿拉伯數字「4」。
陸媒報導，王琳佳在微博上最後的留言，是在7月5日下午3時31分留下，內容是「Go」；葉夢圓最後的留言則是4日晚寫上的「444444」，發音與中文「死」字相近，令人毛骨悚然。
