| 攀高幫客人撿物 工讀生墜樓

新竹市巨城購物中心七日發生驚悚墜樓事件，一名十八歲呂姓工讀生，為了幫孩童撿回掉下樓的遊戲卡，冒險攀過四樓觀景台扶手，站上細薄隔板時突然撞破隔板，墜落三樓地板，頭部受重創，嚇壞不少顧客，經緊急送醫暫無生命危險，住院觀察中。
警方調查，昨天下午三時許，在五樓遊戲機駐點服務的呂姓工讀生，接獲孩童通知，指遊戲卡飛落觀景窗，掉落在四樓觀景台外的白色隔板上，呂男獲悉後答應幫忙撿回，搭電扶梯到四樓觀景台旁。
呂男攀過觀景台扶手，一腳踩上隔板，不料隔板承受不住其體重，當場應聲破裂。呂男重心不穩，全身跟著跌進隔板上，撞穿一個大洞，發出「碰」一聲破裂巨響，整個人跌落到三樓觀景台內，疑因頭部著地，留下大量血跡，目擊顧客尖叫聲四起，引起工作人員注意，緊急報警將呂男送醫搶救。
