| 腸子九變十八拐道 竟因太憂鬱

【王璐華／台北報導】一名71歲獨居吳姓老婦因血便就醫，歷經2次全大腸鏡檢查皆未找出異常，後收治案例的健檢中心院長劉輝雄今日在記者中表示，吳婦腸道嚴重彎曲，增加大腸鏡檢查難度，透過較精密的放大無痛大腸鏡，以窄頻影像技術辨識，並比一般患者多花10倍以上、近30分鐘時間才完成檢查，發現吳婦上行結腸布滿末期大腸癌。
健檢中心針對4200名60歲以上大腸鏡檢查患者分析，超過7成5的人有腸道過彎、緊縮，以心情鬱悶者最見。劉輝雄醫師解釋，人體生理有腦腸迴路，大腦與大腸相互影響，因此大腸也被稱為是第2個大腦，常常憂鬱、焦慮易使腸道緊縮，再加上老年人通常腸黏膜較脆弱，進行大腸鏡檢查容易造成穿孔或誤判。臨床上也曾發生患者腸道彎曲嚴重，大腸鏡管已全部進入腸道卻只檢查到腸道一半，很可能因此錯失潛藏的腸癌病變。
