| 加拿大台灣文化節 企業忌憚中避贊助

【陳郁仁／台北報導】加拿大駐台代表馬凱琳今表示，8月底在多倫多（8/23~25）和溫哥華(8/31~9/2)，將由當地華僑發起，舉辦台灣文化節（Taiwan Fest）活動，介紹台灣美食、藝術和文化給加拿大人民，歡迎大家前往體驗。
此活動的主辦人吳權益說，台灣文化節在加拿大已經舉辦24年，吸引許多當地華人和加國人前往體驗，每年約有20萬人參與，由於活動很成功，許多企業都想贊助，但礙於「台灣」兩字，仍有顧忌，好險這資金缺口由台灣政府補起來。外交人士透露，今年僑委會和新北市政府都有提供贊助。

【柯長錕／台北報導】在台賣出好成績的新HTC One，穩坐台灣5月份單機銷售王，7/12將推出紅色版新機，由遠傳獨賣32GB版，售價與黑色版、銀色版相同，32GB單機價均為2萬1900元，但搭配資費7/12才會公布。
新HTC One搭載4.7吋1080P螢幕、1.7GHz四核心處理器、2GB記憶體等規格，最大特色為強調夜拍功能的UltraPixel相機和BoomSound前置雙喇叭。
