| 確定！微軟8月底推出Windows 8.1最終版更新

在推出Windows 8.1的預覽版之後不久，微軟宣布8.1的最終版很快也要和PC製造商見面了，時間就在8月底。在周一微軟的全球合作伙伴會議上，CFO Tami Reller透露了這個消息。他也提到，這個最終版僅僅是面向PC制造商的。消費者何時能安裝8.1的更新尚未確定，但到時市場上肯定已經有支援8.1的電腦了。
據36氪網報導，在今年的WPC上，微軟大部分時間都是在各種終端上展示他們最新的Windows 8.1，包括8寸的平板電腦、筆電、台式機，甚至還有將PC上的內容通過流傳輸到Xbox One上。盡管最新的8.1的性能並沒有多大的驚喜，但微軟重點展示了即將推出的類AirPlay在不同設備間傳輸的服務。此外，微軟將RTM的時間定在8月底也意味著，之前的預覽版具備了最終版的大部分特性，以及今年晚些時候消費者就能看到8.1的更新了
