| 頁岩氣發威 台塑美國今年可賺315億

〔自由時報記者張慧雯／台北報導〕台塑美國德州廠今年起將100%使用頁岩氣製造乙烯，出廠成本約是原油的一半，去年台塑美國因為頁岩氣之賜，稅前獲利超過300億元。台塑（1301）董事長李志村預估今年這隻金雞母的獲利會比去年更多，台塑持有台塑美國22.59%，今年轉投資收益也將因此提高，預期台塑美國今年可挹注台塑EPS約1.13元。

台塑去年EPS2.4元，獲利較前年大幅衰退60%，不過，董事長李志村日前股東會時即表示，今年本業獲利會比去年好，主要是台塑美國公司受惠於頁岩氣開採技術突破，去年已開始採用低廉成本的天然氣進料，使得去年台塑美國稅前獲利達到10.52億美元（約台幣315億元），創歷史新高紀錄。
