| 江揆指示加強與東南亞教育交流

行政院長江宜樺今 (1)日在行政院會聽取教育部「高等教育輸出推動現況與展望」報告後表示，前教育部長吳清基在99年積極規畫該計畫，並自100年起推動，從改善留學友善環境、行銷留學台灣優勢雙管齊下，擴大招收境外學生來臺留學，已陸續看到成果。
江宜樺說，日前蔣部長參加馬來西亞台灣高等教育展，展出極為成功，他除了感謝吳前部長長期以來對於高教輸出的重視與關心，也對蔣部長及相關同仁的努力與成果，表示肯定及感謝。
江宜樺表示，東南亞目前是我國擴大招收境外學生的主要來源，為增進東南亞學生對我國高等教育的認識，請教育部結合外交部、經濟部、僑委會、國科會等相關部會資源，加強與東南亞國家的教育交流及學術合作，並積極規畫吸引東南亞學生來台就讀的鼓勵措施，以逐步實現打造台灣成為東亞高等教育中心的願景。
