| MTA撥款維護施坦威隧道獲讚許

【大紀元2013年08月10日訊】（大紀元記者李誠慧紐約報導）施坦威隧道（Steinway Tunnel）的7號地鐵線連接曼哈頓和皇后區，是法拉盛緬街（Main Street）到曼哈頓中城（Midtown Manhattan）之間的關鍵大動脈。
自1907年開始，這條線便開始在曼哈頓和皇后區之間運送乘客。不過由於隧道狹窄，是出了名的難以維修和養護。目前，大都會捷運署(MTA)為施坦威隧道撥款6600萬美元以維修、保養及提升防風暴措施。紐約州參議員史塔文斯基（Toby Ann Stavisky）對此表示稱讚。
