| 非法進口狂牛病疫區飼料 進口商被訴

【呂志明／台北報導】台北市久筑企業公司自2007年1月起，進口日本工廠所生產含有偶蹄動物性成分的犬貓寵物飼料，再透過雅虎奇摩拍賣網站公開販售，有民眾懷疑販售的飼料來自疫區，向行政院農委會檢舉。
由於日本、德國、美國、加拿大都是經農委會公告為牛海綿狀腦病（Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy, BSE，俗稱狂牛病）的疫區，在疫區所生產含有偶蹄動物性成分的寵物飼料，應符合農委會審查及派員實地查核認證機制，才可對外販售。

【綜合報導】美國佛州中部鄰近迪士尼樂園的夏灣渡假村(Summer Bay Resort)，11日突然出現一個寬18公尺深4.5公尺的大洞，建築物應聲塌陷，當時約住有35名房客，房客先聽到崩裂聲後紛紛走出房門，所幸大家都在建築物坍塌前離開，沒有傳出任何傷亡。
