【蘇威全╱綜合報導】日本TBS電視台夏季檔日劇《半澤直樹》，播出以來收視率節節高升，前天播出第5集，再度飆升到29.0％，當晚9點49分的瞬間最高收視率甚至高達31.9％。日本媒體報導，TBS有意乘勝追擊延長該劇播出集數，不過最後卻無法如願，因為男主角堺雅人檔期早已滿檔，之後將繼續和新垣結衣續攤10月播出的《王牌大律師2》，只能大嘆可惜。
