【林建鋒、王煌忠／台中報導】今天凌晨四時許，台中市發生一起離奇車禍，民眾報案指稱，中彰快速道路過中清路往西13公里處的車行地下道內，有一輛黑色馬自達自小客翻覆，警消出動器材車趕往救援，卻未發現任何傷者，也未波及其它車輛，只看到一雙腳印有「逃離」現場的痕跡，懷疑駕駛肇事逃逸。

【專案組／直擊報導】中元節將屆，三牲需求升高。《蘋果》日前就接獲讀者投訴，指桃園縣八德市新興路上有私宰雞場，白天、夜晚都在宰殺，嚴重影響當地環境。記 者昨夜前往查看，直擊隱身在農田中的私宰雞場正在屠宰雞隻，恰巧桃園縣政府聯合稽查小組也前往稽查，稽查人員將現場已經宰好的一百多隻雞，裝入塑膠袋內， 並噴上甲基藍染色，帶回銷毀，並將對業者進行開罰動作。

【林世雄／台中報導】台中市議員楊典忠今天表示，日前接獲民眾投訴指稱，台灣大道靠近靜宜大學前，在十多天前重新鋪設瀝青，沒想到原本應該是一片平坦的道路，卻變成「波浪路面」，而且在中線快車道與慢車道，各設有一條，當車輛行駛進入新鋪路面立即產生劇烈晃動，尤其慢車道機車行駛出現劇烈搖況恐會造成危險，小客車也會以為自己車子爆胎。工程品質堪慮。
