| 新竹縣市明天正常上班上課

輕颱「潭美」逐漸遠離，新竹縣政府今晚宣布，明天除新竹縣五峰、尖石鄉外，其餘鄉鎮正常上班上課。新竹市政府表示，明天全市恢復正常上班、上課，仍提醒民眾留意後續可能帶來的降雨。

| 有薪照顧假 朝野立委無修法共識

朝野立委對勞工能否比照公務員享「有薪家庭照顧假」無共識，每遇颱風就起波瀾。
行政院版修法草案主張，應在「停課不停班」及「家有12歲以下子女」兩條件都成立時，勞工請家庭照顧假才能支薪；但民進黨團批評「門檻太高」，應比照公務員每年無條件享5天有薪照顧假。

| 阿里山公路今晚十點封路

潭美颱風來襲，造成嘉義縣山區大雨不斷，公路總局五區處阿里山工務段段長郭清水今晚表示，阿里山公路預計今天深夜十點預警性封路，觸口段起到遊樂區將禁止車輛進出。
另外，目前嘉義縣山區的一六九線二公里的梅山鄉太和村段、一六九線廿七公里處的阿里山達邦村段、及一五九甲線的竹崎鄉光華村段，因有道路土石坍方而交通中斷，工務段將等風雨轉小時搶修。
