立法院第四會期即將在九月中開議，朝野協商日前決議，服貿協議需在立法院內政委員會舉行十六場公聽會，最快十月中才能進入實質審查。

在野黨要求立法院退回、拒審服貿協議，國民黨政策會執行長林鴻池表示，服貿協議是準條約，若要更動等於得重談，茲事體大又曠日廢時，國民黨希望先上路、再檢視成效。
