| 敘利亞危機 鄰國經濟遭殃

2011年起爆發的敘利亞危機，不但使本國經濟傷痕累累，更殃及鄰國黎巴嫩與約旦。
聯合國西亞經濟和社會委員會（ESCWA）7月發表的報告指出，黎巴嫩與敘利亞的經濟休戚與共，敘利亞2012年國內生產毛額（GDP）萎縮31%，今年來已下滑7%，黎巴嫩的GDP成長率也在2011年從前一年的7%暴跌至1.5%，2012年降至1.2%。

| 支持美軍事干預敘利亞 法總統：準備就緒

【大紀元2013年08月28日訊】（大紀元記者林南編譯報導）法國總統弗朗索瓦．奧朗德（Francois Hollande）8月27日（週二）表示，他的國家已經準備好採取行動，對付那些在敘利亞使用毒氣的肇事者。
美聯社報導，「法國準備懲罰那些令人髮指的（上週在敘利亞）決定使用氣體殺害無辜的人，」 奧朗德在與法國大使的一次會議上說，但他沒有解釋細節。
奧朗德還表示，「我已經決定增加我們的軍事支援給敘利亞全國聯盟」 。敘利亞全國聯盟主要是流亡海外的敘利亞反對派組織。
