| 國軍完成災害應變中心一級開設 可隨時投入救災

（軍聞社記者李忠軒臺北廿八日電）國防部今天表示，因應「康芮颱風」可能對臺灣地區造成影響，國防部配合中央災害應變中心一級開設，同步於十一時卅分完成國軍災害應變中心一級開設，並通令各軍司令部（指揮部）、作戰區整合地區內三軍部隊及可用救災資源，依地方行政區域劃分，完成應變編組及兵力、機具檢整。
國防部指出，國軍目前待命兵力四萬餘人，並配合各地方政府安置鄉民需求，規劃收容營區一百一十一處；此外，預置各式防（救）災裝備機具：包括發電機六百一十六台、抽水機四百五十六部、甲車三百一十九輛、重機具五百八十一輛、飛機五十六架、船艇膠舟八十三艘等六類二千餘部；同時，後備指揮部計已派遣連絡官六十四員，分別進駐宜蘭縣、花蓮縣及新北市政府，五十六個鄉鎮區公所，即時掌握各地方政府最新的災情與需求。
