| 中油林園廠跳機冒臭味 環保局裁處20萬元

【涂建豐／高雄報導】高雄市林園區工業區晚上7時許，突然天空出現一片光芒，民眾懷疑林園中油廠趁大雨偷排廢氣！環保局人員獲報前往了解，發現中油林園廠因為跳機，管線中的乙烯、丙烯必須排出燃燒，才造成火光。不過，因中油未依規定在一小時內通報，加上現場聞到臭味，依據《空氣污染防制法》規定，各裁處十萬元，共二十萬元罰鍰。

【綜合報導】美國50個城市數以千計的速食店員工、約1千間麥當勞、漢堡王、肯德基、必勝客的員工，周四(29日)響應號召舉行聯合大罷工，爭取將最低時薪增加一倍，達到15美元(約台幣450元)。
紐約、芝加哥、底特律等地，共有約1千家麥當勞(McDonald's)、漢堡王(Burger King)、肯德基(Kentucky Fry Chicken)、必勝客(Pizza Hut)等快餐店員工都參與了罷工示威。主辦單位表示，這次堪稱速食店業界歷來最大規模的罷工，活動同時爭取籌組工會但不被秋後算帳的權利。
