| 減輕學業負擔 陸小學取消考英文

【綜合報導】中國教育部為減輕小學生學業負擔，周四頒佈修改後的《小學生減負十條規定》，其中最引人矚目的是，取消四年級以上學期考試中的英語科目，此舉也表示一向被稱為小學三大主科之一的英語，將退至普通科目的地位。
今年8月，教育部就小學生減負公佈十條規定，包括一至三年級不舉行任何形式考試，四年級開始，每科每學期測試不超過兩次，期末統考只限語文、數學和英語，考試內容嚴禁超出課程標凖等，公開後徵求社會大眾的意見，以進行修改，新規定對考試作出更嚴格規範，除了取消英語期末統考外，還規定學校不得公佈學生成績與排名，一至三年級不留書面家庭作業，四至六年級每天書面家庭作業總量，控制在一小時內等。

【綜合報導】北京大學迎新搞創意，在第二教學樓上掛的眾多繪畫書法作品中，有學生發現，有四幅書法作品寫的是網路熱門用語，其中一幅寫着「圖樣圖森破」，即英文的「too young too simple」（太年輕，太簡單）普通話諧音，正是13年前，時任中共總書記江澤民，教訓香港記者的用詞。
這幅充滿調侃意味的書法引起北大學子圍觀，校方發現不妥，於前日將它拿下，2000年10月中共總書記江澤民，在人民大會堂接見赴京述職的時任行政長官董建華時，香港有線電視女記者追問他是否欽點董建華做第二任特首，江澤民勃然大怒，當眾教訓女記者，用了英文「too young」、「too simple」和「naive（幼稚）」形容記者。
