| 走訪烏山頭 瑞芳高工生尋根

新北市瑞芳高工的前身，「土木測量技術員養成所」，是興建烏山頭水庫的技師八田與一所創，為「飲水思源」，12日瑞芳高工應屆畢業生，將到烏山頭水庫祭拜八田與一銅像，展開尋根之旅。
嘉南農田水利會指出，八田與一技師在台南興建烏山頭水庫後，回到台灣總督府工作，他有感於培養土木測量人員的重要，於西元1934年在台北市樺山町創建「土木測量技術員養成所」，日本戰敗被我國接收，該校遷移至台北瑞芳，校名改為瑞芳高工。
