【綜合報導】有媒體統計前NBA球星姚明的資產，累計高達30億元人民幣，約近146億台幣，報導形容他是位精明的生意人，理財更達到爐火純青的地步。
報導指出，姚明在4年前收購上海大鯊魚籃球隊，當時球隊負債近1億元人民幣，但姚明表明投資意向後，上海體育局出面斡旋，讓籃球隊的3大股東同意，將男籃股權單獨分拆出來，以2000萬人民幣賣給姚明，但資本不是來自姚明，而是由美國企業韋德公司，在中國的分支機構出資。
